This weekend we will make the big switch to replace our current website. At that point what we’ve called the beta website (beta.parliament.scot) will become the main Parliament site (www.parliament.scot).
This switch marks the end of a very busy period in the Web and Online Project, which has been underway since 2017. For the project team, a busy weekend of deployment and testing the new site is ahead.
You can read more about the new website (use this link if you are reading this on Monday: https://www.parliament.scot/about/information-about-new-website).
The picture is an illustration of what is coming on Monday. You can see it today on the beta site.
The story does not end here
We hope you agree that the new site is a big improvement on the old one. We have focused on meeting user needs and making our information and content more accessible.
But the story doesn’t end there. Websites continually evolve and the Parliament’s new website is no different. We will always look to improve the user experience and we welcome your feedback to us make it even better.
